PART 1 (Some quick facts)

The  1951  Census  detailed  the ethnic  and  racial  composition  of  Canada which  included  in- total   6,709,685    British Isles (White)  plus  6,872,889  “Other”  European (White),   72,827   Asiatic,   165,607   Native   Indian   and  Eskimo  and 18,020  Negroes   out  of  Canada’s  total  population  of   14,009,429 (million).   

At   the   time,   Canada   was   overwhelmingly   WHITE     European     and    this    group    comprised     approximately         98%   of     (Canada’s)   population.        >Source:
